Chris Minns declares election win a ‘vote against privatisation’

NSW Labor has swept to victory and toppled Liberal leader Dominic Perrottet’s 12-year-old Coalition in a resounding result that the incoming premier Chris Minns declared was a vote against privatisation.

A triumphant Mr Minns declared “NSW Labor is back” as election results showed Labor was on track to win 10 seats and form government with a foothold of 47 in the state’s 93-seat Legislative Assembly.
