Defeated Queensland Labor leader Steven Miles will retain the party reins and serve as opposition leader despite being bundled out of government with the potential loss of 13 seats.
Mr Miles conceded the Queensland election on Sunday morning, ending Labor’s near-decade reign, but said he will recontest the leadership to rebuild the party.
