Victorian Opposition Leader John Pesutto hopes to expel Liberal MP Moira Deeming from the party after she attended a rally associated with neo-Nazis, and threw his support behind the state’s government proposal to ban the Nazi salute.

Mr Pesutto will next week hold a vote to expel Ms Deeming from the party after she spoke at British anti-trans activist Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull’s Let Women Speak event outside Victorian parliament on Saturday.
