Greens ‘fanning flames of division’, says besieged Labor MP

Victorian MP Peter Khalil, whose federal electorate office has been the most heavily targeted by pro-Palestine activists claiming Labor is “complicit in genocide” and “kills Palestinians”, says violence, intimidation and hate speech is unacceptable.

This comes as the Australian National University on Thursday expelled Beatrice Tucker, the student who in April told ABC that while she disagreed with Hamas’ strategies, the militant group “deserves our unconditional support”.
