Labor demands Australia Post justify $28m in bonuses

Labor has asked Australia Post and NBN Co to explain how tens of millions in taxpayer-funded bonuses are in keeping with community expectations and reflect value for money.

The Australian Financial Review reported this week that at least 24 public servants and government-owned corporation executives last year earned more than $1 million, including multiple executives from Australia Post, NBN Co and Snowy Hydro.
