Diversified manufacturer, Joyce Corporation Ltd, has taken a step towards its target of becoming a significantly bigger company with the announcement yesterday that it will merge its health-care furniture and equipment business with Victorian-based Oxford Medical Equipment.

The move follows a re-appraisal by the market of the Perth-based company over the past month, which has seen its share price climb by nearly 40 since the start of April to close yesterday at $1.97.
