Queensland former deputy premier and treasurer Jackie Trad was the biggest casualty of Saturday's election, losing her seat of South Brisbane to the Greens.

Once touted as a future premier – who ruled Labor's Left faction with an iron fist before becoming embroiled in integrity issues that led to her leaving the ministry in March – Ms Trad's fall from grace is now complete.
