Berejiklian asks if ICAC phone taps will be ‘problem’ on tapped phone
Disgraced former Liberal MP Daryl Maguire warned former premier Gladys Berejiklian in 2018 the state’s anti-corruption watchdog could be tapping his phone as she asked if that would be a “problem”, an inquiry has heard.
Ms Berejiklian was played a phone call between her and her secret lover at the Independent Commission Against Corruption on Friday in which Mr Maguire spoke about teeing up a meeting between a property developer and a Sydney councillor.
