Has Queenslanders’ long affinity with Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk finally started to turn?

After consecutive election victories in 2015, 2017 and 2020, Palaszczuk – who was known in some circles as the “Queensland whisperer” after using a tough border stance to win another term during the pandemic – still believes she is the only Labor leader who could win next year’s state election.
