Former top judge Allsop to Hong Kong court
Former Federal Court chief justice James Allsop has joined the cohort of Australians on Hong Kong’s top court, replacing former High Court chief justice Murray Gleeson.
Mr Allsop will join Bill Gummow, Robert French and Patrick Keane as an overseas non-permanent justice on the Court of Final Appeal, a move welcomed by the Hong Kong government.
