Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese is opposing an inquiry into Australia's family law system, amidst questions about the deal done between One Nation leader Pauline Hanson and Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

The Labor leader held an emergency shadow cabinet meeting over the One Nation leader's role as deputy chair of the probe, and said: "I say to the Prime Minister, we can't support an inquiry in which he has unilaterally, along with Pauline Hanson, done a deal."
