Wayne Swan to take the reins at Cbus

Former federal treasurer Wayne Swan has been appointed as chairman of leading industry superannuation fund Cbus.

Mr Swan, who served as treasurer and deputy prime minister under Labor prime ministers Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard between 2007 and 2013, takes over from former Victorian Labor premier Steve Bracks.
