Two things stood out after trailing a GetUp! volunteer doorknock in the calm, leafy streets of Mosman this week.

First, everyone who answered the door was impressively up to date on politics. More surprising was how many people were prepared to have a full-blown political discussion with Robin and Judith, the two GetUp! volunteers trying to convince them to vote for someone other than former Liberal prime minister Tony Abbott.
