Voice leaders pen private letter of angst to Albanese
Indigenous leaders who chose not to sign a bruising open letter blaming the Voice to parliament defeat on “a shameful act” by Australian voters are preparing their own private response to the federal government.
After a split over a 12-point response to the referendum result, issued on Sunday night, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is expected to receive a separate response from Voice advocates who disagreed with blunt language about the defeat and its implications.
