Victoria got ADF quarantine offer in April

Victoria's most senior public servant was offered assistance from the Australian Defence Force to guard quarantine hotels as early as April, contradicting Premier Daniel Andrews' repeated claims otherwise.
A federal government statement tendered to the Hotel Quarantine Inquiry revealed Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet secretary, Phil Gaetjens, emailed his Victorian counterpart Chris Eccles offering help on April 8.
