Undermine mining at your peril, industry warns PM

The big miners have accused the government of inciting conflict with its industrial relations and other regulatory changes, to the point the industry feels it is under siege and punished for being successful.

In a speech at Parliament House on Monday night, Minerals Council of Australia chief executive officer Tania Constable warned Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of the consequences of damaging an industry which represents 10 per cent of the nation’s GDP.
