Trust in government is the newest gender divide

Only 38 per cent of Australian women trust the federal government, compared with 54 per cent of men, a major OECD study finds, and the trust gap is worst among young women.
The 16 per cent gender trust gap is well above the 7 per cent average and the largest deviation from the OECD trend of all demographic groups.
