Trump warned on ‘relentless’ China as Beijing duchesses Pacific

China has overtaken the United States to become the second-biggest benefactor to Pacific nations, says a survey by foreign policy think-tank the Lowy Institute.
It found that Beijing is targeting funds to win influence in specific countries, including having embassies doling out small grants and gifts at the community level to build influence.
