Tritium is ‘a lost opportunity’ for local manufacturing, says PM

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has described the closure of fast-charger company Tritium’s Brisbane factory as “an example of a lost opportunity” while promoting the government’s new Future Made in Australia Act to encourage more local manufacturing.
Tritium, which makes fast chargers for electric vehicles, had been championed by Australian politicians as a local manufacturing success story.
