For Jit Goyal and his family, there is more than one reason to celebrate January 26.

Like thousands of others, Mr Goyal’s family will spend Friday evening taking in the Australia Day fireworks on the banks of the Swan River in Perth. The morning will be dedicated to celebrating India’s Republic Day.
