Anthony Albanese has accused Israel of breaking international law by stopping aid to tens of thousands of Gazan civilians, but played down the prospect of backing a French-led push to recognise Palestinian statehood.
The Prime Minister on Sunday said while he was not a lawyer, it was a clear “breach of international law to stop food being delivered” to Gazan civilians, “which was the decision that Israel made in March”.
