Aged Care Minister Anika Wells says Baby Boomers have had a pretty good run throughout their lives, and those with the means to do so need to pay more for their aged care.
As the government seeks support to move to a more means-tested system of aged care to ensure its sustainability, Ms Wells will tell the National Press Club on Wednesday: “We must act now. The Baby Boomers are coming.”
