Accenture beats the big four in record $2b for Canberra work

Australia’s top consulting firms secured a record $2 billion worth of taxpayer funded work in 2021-22, with Accenture taking top billing for the second consecutive year followed by KPMG, Deloitte, PwC and EY.

The so-called ‘big four’ firms plus Accenture inked just under $1.7 billion in contracts with federal government departments, and also secured at least $313 million in contract extensions from the prior financial year.
