Sydney train services resume with significant delays

Sydney trains were brought to a standstill on Wednesday for about an hour by a network-wide digital radio communication issue, leaving thousands stuck across train stations waiting for public transport.

Train services resumed about 4pm after a back-up digital radio system was switched on.
