Indigenous leaders are demanding Queensland and Western Australia follow the Commonwealth and other states to introduce a reparations scheme to compensate Stolen Generations survivors for harm.

Pat Turner, the lead convenor of the Coalition of the Peaks which represents indigenous bodies, said the two states could no longer hold out, while Indigenous Australians Minister Ken Wyatt said they should consider it.
