‘Red herrings’: Albanese fires up over Voice criticism

Anthony Albanese forcefully rejected calls to ditch the Voice to parliament in favour of symbolic recognition of Indigenous Australians, calling out a radio host for raising “red herrings” from the No case.
The prime minister said the Voice to parliament would be an elected body, and described as “the definition of being dumb” the refusal of critics for a rethink on decades of failed Indigenous policy design.
