When the curtain finally came down on Michael McCormack’s three-and-a-bit years as deputy prime minister, the outgoing Nationals’ leader struck a reflective note.
Facing the House of Representatives hours after being dumped in favour of long-time critic Barnaby Joyce, Mr McCormack ended question time on Monday channelling Doris Day and Normie Rowe.
