Qld doctor did not complete COVID training before bungled injections

The Morrison government is rushing to reassure Australians about the safety of COVID-19 vaccines after it emerged a Queensland doctor at the centre of bungled injections of two aged care residents had not completed mandatory training.

Health Minister Greg Hunt slammed the breach of the vaccination program rules, after an investigation by Deputy Chief Medical Officer Michael Kidd revealed the doctor administering injections at the Holy Spirit facility in Carseldine had not completed online training modules.
