Plans by the Albanese government to rush its industrial relations legislation through Parliament by Christmas appear doomed with crucial crossbenchers from One Nation and Jacqui Lambie echoing criticisms of David Pocock that the bills needed more scrutiny.
With the Greens supporting the bill, the government also needs the vote of one of either One Nation, Senator Lambie, or Senator Pocock to secure the passage of its “Secure Jobs, Better Pay Bill”
