Two-thirds of workers who have lost hours because of the coronavirus may have fallen through the cracks of the JobKeeper wage subsidy program and are not receiving help, new Melbourne Institute research finds.

And as the newly unemployed reality sets in for hundreds of thousands of people, satisfaction with the government's economic response has also dipped according to the institute's latest weekly survey tracking attitudes to the COVID-19 pandemic.
