PM acknowledges voters’ ‘frustration’ over omicron outbreak

Scott Morrison and business want state governments to clarify workplace health safety rules so that daily coronavirus testing is limited to the most vulnerable industries, in an attempt to further ease workforce and rapid antigen test shortages.

Ahead of Thursday’s national cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister also indicated a cautious approach towards reducing COVID-19 isolation requirements to five days, saying 30 per cent of people remained infectious after that period.
