Out of the deep freeze: Xi Jinping agrees to meet Anthony Albanese

Bali | Anthony Albanese is expected to push China to lift its trade bans on Australia, and urge Beijing to put pressure on Russia to leave Ukraine, when he becomes the first prime minister to meet President Xi Jinping in six years.
Arriving in Bali for the G20 summit, Mr Albanese confirmed the meeting for Tuesday, just after the Chinese cautioned Australia would have to meet it half way if it wanted to restore the relationship.
