No relief for Australian steel exporters in US court ruling

Canberra | Trade Minister Don Farrell is dampening down hopes that an American court’s ruling against US President Donald Trump’s “liberation day” tariffs will lead to immediate relief for Australian exporters that have been hit with higher duties.

The Court of International Trade found that Trump overstepped his authority after he used emergency powers to slap sweeping duties on imports to arrest America’s global trade deficit.
