The battle for Bradfield appears to have one more twist in the tale, after independent Nicolette Boele closed in on her Liberal rival 24 hours after most media outlets declared her the loser.

On Tuesday night, Gisele Kapterian’s lead narrowed to just 59 votes, after a batch of about 500 declaration prepoll votes broke almost two-thirds in Boele’s favour shaving more than 100 votes off the Liberal’s lead.
