National cabinet failing on border bans, vaccines: poll

Nearly two-thirds of Australians want national cabinet to co-operate better as the country reopens from COVID-19, with respondents to a new poll criticising management of border closures, vaccine delays and quarantine.

Sixty-four per cent of respondents said they believed the Morrison government and state and territory leaders had not collaborated well during the crisis, the Ipsos poll conducted for the McKinnon Prize in Political Leadership found.
