On track to be one of the most vaccinated cities in the world, Canberra has passed 99 per cent of its population having received a first vaccination and will exceed its double dose thresholds at the weekend.

Chief Minister Andrew Barr said on Friday more than 76 per cent of people 12 and older in the ACT had received their second vaccine dose.
