MP targeted with antisemitic death threats; police ramp up arrests
A federal MP was among the targets of a Victorian man charged with making death threats and antisemitic comments against political figures, with police indicating further people will be arrested as part of a national crackdown.
The Australian Federal Police said on Friday a 33-year-old man from Reservoir in Melbourne’s north had been charged after separately contacting a NSW-based federal MP and a Victorian state MP via their social media accounts and email.
