Prime Minister Scott Morrison has apologised “for any offence” caused by saying he was “blessed” not to have children with disabilities, sparking a rebuke from wheelchair tennis champion Dylan Alcott and Labor.
Mr Morrison says he has apologised to the Australian of the Year and seven-time Australian Open champion for how he responded to a question from a mother with a child with autism.
