‘Making fun of people’s names’: Albanese hits out at Liberal ads

Anthony Albanese has criticised Coalition election campaign advertising he said makes fun of his Italian surname, suggesting Australians with multicultural heritage would judge Scott Morrison and the Liberal Party harshly.
Speaking at an event at Sydney’s Club Marconi on Wednesday night, the Opposition Leader referenced Liberal Party ads which claim: “It won’t be easy under Albanese”.
