Libs demand probe into AG’s $150k cost waiver for CFMEU
The opposition believes Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus should be referred to the new national anti-corruption commission following his decision to waive a $150,000 costs order against the CFMEU, one of the Labor Party’s biggest donors.
Following the receipt of documents that were requested under Freedom of Information laws, and which confirm the waiver, opposition workplace relations spokeswoman Michaelia Cash said Anthony Albanese should refer his attorney-general when the NACC is established by the middle of this year.
