Opposition Leader Sussan Ley has embarked on a campaign to rebuild the Liberal Party’s broken relationship with corporate Australia as part of a broader effort to restore the Coalition’s shattered fortunes.
After her predecessors Peter Dutton and, to a lesser extent, Scott Morrison oversaw a collapse in the relationship as the party prioritised small business, Ley has started meeting the nation’s top executives, arguing businesses of all sizes are important.
