Congratulations to Scott Morrison and Barnaby Joyce for coming to an agreement on net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050!

This goes to show how the democratic process can produce policy in the national interest. After almost a decade of high tensions and higher emissions, it looks like Australian climate policy has turned the corner.
