Letters: A political race to the bottom
Federal election, diminishing political trust, Liberal selection committee, Labor economic policies, SA ICAC reform, Malcolm Turnbull, Solomons reaction.
Politicians are to blame for the lack of enthusiasm for the major political parties in our democracy. This has led to the increase in new parties and independents standing in this election.
While this departure from the major parties has been happening for 20 years or more, it is on the increase because of poor representation of constituents and an increase in bad behaviour by elected politicians.
