'Legacy businesses' may receive IR exemptions

Labor is not ruling out backing an extension of industrial relations exemptions for employers no longer using the JobKeeper wage subsidy, but says it is up to Scott Morrison to make the case.
Labor was responding after Mr Morrison suggested again on Friday the emergency changes to the Fair Work Act, which enabled employers to vary the hours worked and duties performed, would still be needed even as business turnovers recovered.
