Labor's factional fallout worsens

Federal Labor MP Anthony Byrne looks set to escape sanction following the release by his sworn enemy Adem Somyurek of fruity text messages deriding key members of the party.
But the fallout between the two former factional allies continued apace on Wednesday with Mr Byrne accusing Mr Somyurek of leaking the texts and Mr Somyurek questioning Mr Byrne's mental health and accusing him of teaching him how to stack branches.
