Labor demands 'rolling audit' for coronavirus billions
Labor wants a special rolling audit of more than $200 billion in emergency coronavirus spending, in a bid to properly scrutinise the Coalition's stimulus plans while Parliament is on hold.
Opposition finance spokeswoman Katy Gallagher has written to Auditor-General Grant Hehir this week, asking for continuing independent review of the record spending designed to combat COVID-19's damage to the Australian economy and the livelihoods of thousands of workers.
