Pharmacists have labelled as “insulting” the Albanese government’s deal with the Greens to make pharmacies the sole supplier of vapes, saying they are not tobacconists or “garbage collectors”.

Health Minister Mark Butler on Monday backflipped on plans to mandate doctors’ prescriptions for all vape sales but said the government would still limit their sale to pharmacies.
