Former NSW Labor premier Kristina Keneally split from her parliamentary colleagues last night and abstained from voting against a bill by the Coalition government to privatise the state’s electricity generators.

Former NSW Labor premier Kristina Keneally split from her parliamentary colleagues last night and abstained from voting against a bill by the Coalition government to privatise the state’s electricity generators.

The Labor opposition, led by former union leader John Robertson, voted against the bill, which passed the Coalition-dominated lower house by 61 votes to 21.
