Inquiry into Bishop and Pyne jobs flawed and 'should be reopened'

An investigation into whether Christopher Pyne and Julie Bishop breached rules governing post-parliamentary employment for former ministers should be reopened because the initial probe was flawed, an inquiry has found.

Sparked by consulting jobs for the former defence and foreign ministers, the final Labor-led report into compliance with Scott Morrison's ministerial standards includes a rebuke of former top public servant Martin Parkinson by Senate crossbench powerbroker Rex Patrick.
