Infections are just the new normal
In March, the maths said Australia had to lock down the nation. Now it says we have to co-exist with COVID-19.

The maths – in the form of a high transmission rate – told us this made sense. We had to get the spread under control, and avoid overwhelming our health system.
The national cabinet agreed to impose strong controls, and it worked.
